The Use of Drones in Ukraine for Destroying Enemy Targets is Growing

• In July, the Ukrainian military destroyed 23,400 enemy targets using drones.

In July, Ukrainian drone systems destroyed over 23,000 enemy targets, including over 5,000 Russian soldiers. According to the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, FPV drones and nighttime bombers played a key role in these operations. He noted that drones have become an indispensable part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and, in cooperation with infantry and artillery, are key to success in repelling the enemy.

Syrskyi also mentioned that there is a regular meeting on the development of drone capabilities. At this meeting, commanders of drone units reported on their achievements and non-standard solutions. Among the leaders in destroying enemy targets were the units "Ptakhy Madyara," "Feniks," and "Akhiiles." In July, drones destroyed 5,134 occupiers, with 756 targets being eliminated daily.

The next step in the development of drone units will be the creation of specialized robotic complexes. In this direction, Ukraine plans to develop both logistical and combat components. Syrskyi emphasized that an important part of such meetings is the exchange of experiences between units.

In addition, the special operations unit "Artan" has intensified operations against Russian troops, destroying equipment, artillery, and enemy communication systems. Recent reports indicate that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian losses have reached 1,060,310 personnel.
