Zelensky Discusses with Tusk the Entry of Ukraine and Moldova into the EU

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a telephone conversation with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The main topics of the conversation were the production of defense equipment, support for Ukrainians, and the process of negotiations regarding Ukraine's membership in the European Union.

Zelensky noted that they agreed on the simultaneous opening of the first negotiation cluster for Ukraine and Moldova. "Ukraine and Moldova have begun this path together and will continue it in sync," the president emphasized.

Zelensky also mentioned his discussions with the President of the USA and European colleagues. He highlighted the importance of joint efforts to ensure the security and independence of Ukraine and Poland.

Additionally, the sides discussed changes in Polish legislation that affect Ukrainian students and applicants. "In such times, any difficulties for children and students are felt particularly acutely," added Zelensky, inviting Tusk to support Ukrainian youth.
