Microsoft has announced the launch of new features in its Copilot product, including integration with the new GPT-5 model from OpenAI. This model is available to all users, including those without subscriptions, and introduces updated capabilities for the Copilot chat-bot.
Among the newly introduced features is a 3D function, which allows users to transform 2D images into 3D models. This function, available within Copilot Labs, does not require a Pro subscription and allows users to experiment with various objects, such as Ikea furniture and other items. However, Copilot 3D has restrictions on processing images of people and animals.
Along with the new capabilities, Copilot 365 can better understand the context of user queries and process complex questions. Microsoft also introduced Copilot Studio, which allows for the creation of customized agents for business processes.
In addition, the new GPT-5 model will appear in GitHub Copilot, which promises to improve the results of code writing. Microsoft has also launched Azure AI Foundry, which provides access to various GPT-5 models for developers.
