As a result of shelling in Kupiansk, four people were injured

• Four civilians were injured from shelling in Kupiansk.

On September 8, 2025, in the city of Kupiansk, which is in the Kharkiv region, as a result of shelling by Russian troops, four civilians were injured.

Deputy of the Kupiansk District State Administration Andriy Kanashievich reported that at 08:30 in the morning, as a result of the attack, a 70-year-old woman was injured, who was hospitalized.

At 09:00, as a result of the shelling, two men, aged 69 and 66, and a woman were injured. Also, during the early morning shelling, presumably from the use of reactive systems, a 63-year-old man was injured.

According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, the judicial investigation has begun based on the facts of war crimes according to part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

This incident is part of ongoing shelling that targets populated areas of the Kupiansk district.
