The Kremlin reported that Putin also discussed the results of his meeting with the U.S. representative for the Middle East, Steve Vitkoff, which took place on August 6. According to the Kremlin's information, Modi confirmed India's position regarding diplomatic resolution of the situation in Ukraine.

This conversation became part of a broader dialogue between Putin and world leaders, including Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
