In Ukraine, a Russian anti-aircraft missile brigade is attacked

On August 8, in the village of Afipsky, Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation, as a result of an operation by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the military unit of the 90th anti-aircraft missile brigade was attacked.

According to sources in Ukrainian intelligence, near a military unit's control and supply point, two explosions occurred, resulting in at least 12 Russian servicemen killed, many occupiers received injuries, and equipment was destroyed.

Local ZMI and users of social networks reported two explosions in the village of Afipsky, after which local security services cordoned off the area and introduced an "anti-terrorist operation" regime. At the site of the incident, a large number of fast vehicles and ambulances of emergency services were observed.

Meanwhile, to verify the fact of sabotage on the territory of the military unit, in the Russian information space, information circulated that the cause of the explosion was improper gas equipment in the vehicle. The FSB is also attempting to remove mentions of the incident from media and social networks.

Sources in the GUR indicate that the 90th anti-aircraft missile brigade, which was attacked, is involved in the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine in the directions of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia.
