Burnley Football Club has finalized the signing of Armand Broya from Chelsea for an undisclosed amount, which, according to reports, is set to be around 20 million pounds sterling.
Broya signed a five-year contract with the club and became the second foreign player to transfer from Chelsea to Burnley this week. Earlier, the club signed Lesley Ugochukwu.
Armand Broya, an Albanian forward, previously played for Chelsea, where he made 38 appearances and scored nine goals. However, due to a series of regular injuries, he missed several seasons at the club, including stints at Vitesse, Southampton, Fulham, and Everton.
Broya expressed enthusiasm regarding the new challenge, stating: "I feel the support from the Burnley fans and I will give all my strength to wear the famous red shirt".
This transfer became the ninth signing for Burnley this summer, as the club is preparing to start the new Premier League season, which kicks off on August 16 with a match against Tottenham.
