AT&T customers who suffered from recent breaches of confidentiality may file a claim for a share of the $177 million allocated for compensation.

This settlement pertains to two major data breaches. The first occurred in 2019, when data from 7.6 million active and 65.4 million former customers was compromised. The second breach happened in April 2024, when a hacker gained access to telephone and text records of approximately 109 million AT&T customers.

Customers who submit a claim may receive up to $5,000 for the first breach and up to $2,500 for the second, with the possibility of receiving up to $7,500 if they were affected in both cases.

Claims can be submitted online at TelecomDataSettlement.com or by sending a paper claim to the address provided in the notifications that must reach affected customers. It is important that claims are submitted by November 18, 2025. Once the settlement is approved, payments may begin in early 2026.
