Three 9/11 Victims Identified After 24 Years
- The names of three new victims of the 9/11 attacks have been revealed.

Recently, in New York City, three more victims of the 9/11 attacks were identified, made possible by advancements in DNA technology. Among the identified victims are Ryan Fitzgerald, 26 years old, and Barbara Kitting, 72 years old. The names of one more victim remain confidential at the request of their family.
Fitzgerald worked in a financial company at the Trade Center, while Kitting was a passenger on an American Airlines flight that was hijacked by terrorists and crashed into the tower. According to medical examiner Jason Graham, the identification was made possible due to improvements in DNA testing and the cooperation of the victims' families.
Kitting, whose son described the identification process as emotional, was actively involved in social services and church. Fitzgerald, who lived in Manhattan, had plans for the future with his girlfriend.
Since the time of the attacks, 1,653 victims have been identified, while nearly 1,100 remain unknown. The attacks on September 11, 2001, took the lives of more than 3,000 people, the majority of whom perished in New York City.
