In France, in the region of Od, a large fire has also broken out, which over three days has destroyed more than 160 square kilometers of forest. It has claimed the life of one person and led to the evacuation of hundreds of residents. Weather forecasts predict rising temperatures, which could spark new outbreaks of fire.

Both countries are facing serious challenges in combating forest fires, which are being exacerbated by climate change and high temperatures.
