Gonzalo García signed a new contract with Real, which will run until 2030. This step is a result of his impressive performances at the World Cup this summer, where he scored four goals in six matches.

At just 21 years old, García became a prominent figure during the tournament in the USA, notably starting with a decisive goal in the match against Juventus in the Round of 16. Initially, it was planned that the player might leave the club, but his successful play convinced the coach to keep him in the main squad after the transfer of Kasper Alonzo.

After signing the new contract, the club also increased his salary and raised the buyout clause to prevent potential transfers to other teams. García is already training with the first team ahead of the start of the new La Liga season.
