- Eddie Howe confirmed that Isak cannot train with the team.
- Newcastle rejected Liverpool's offer of 110 million pounds.
- The club needs reinforcements before the start of the new season.
This is reported by Sky Sports, Sky Sports.
Eddie Howe, the coach of Newcastle, stated that currently Alexander Isak cannot be included in the squad.
Last week, the club rejected Liverpool's offer of 110 million pounds, as Isak expressed a desire to explore other options. Previously, he missed the preseason tour due to an injury, but is now training separately from the team.
Howe noted that there are no disciplinary actions regarding Isak, but he is required to train more than his teammates. "We wanted him to be back with us, but the situation has to be right for that," the coach emphasized.
Previously, Newcastle had problems with signing players this summer. The club could not manage to sign several target footballers, and now needs new reinforcements, particularly a striker and a midfielder.
In the last match, which ended in a 2-2 draw with Espanol, Newcastle could not manage without Isak, and Howe stated that they need additional players to cope with the demands of European competitions.
