Trackhouse Racing extends contract with Shane van Gisbergen

Concord, North Carolina. Trackhouse Racing announced the extension of the contract with Shane van Gisbergen, who became part of the team after a successful debut in NASCAR.
Shane, a native of Auckland, New Zealand, signed a multi-year agreement, the details of which have not been disclosed. He joined Trackhouse Racing as part of the Project 91 program, which aims to popularize international drivers in NASCAR.
Van Gisbergen has achieved three wins in NASCAR, including the first historic win on the streets of Chicago, becoming the first driver since 1963 to win in his debut race in the Cup. He also won races in Mexico and on the Sonoma track.
At the moment, van Gisbergen occupies fourth place in the playoff Cup standings for 2025, having three races left in the regular season. "Trackhouse Racing has become a home for me," he noted, confirming his connection with the team.
The team leader Justin Marks highly praised van Gisbergen's achievements, emphasizing that he has demonstrated a high level of mastery, winning in races where competition is significant. The team is also discussing the possibility of filling the third car after the departure of Daniel Suarez.
In the upcoming races in Watkins Glen, van Gisbergen is trying to qualify for the elite drivers' club, which has won four races on the streets or tracks.
