ARLINGTON, Texas — Dallas Wings rookie Paige Bueckers will not play in the match against the New York Liberty due to ankle injury, which required treatment during the previous game. She was under question before the match, but ultimately was ruled out of the roster.

Bueckers sustained the injury during the second quarter of the game against Liberty, which took place three days ago, and she hopes to return to the court as she felt discomfort in her ankle.

This will already be the seventh game that Bueckers will miss this season. Earlier she missed four matches due to a stress fracture and subsequent health issues.
