As of August 9, 2025, Russia reported significant losses on the front, including 940 soldiers killed and wounded over the last day. The total number of losses of Russian troops since February 24, 2022, stands at approximately 1,062,290 people.
According to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the total combat losses of Russia include:
- approximately 1,062,290 soldiers (+940);
- 11,088 tanks (+5);
- 23,103 armored personnel carriers (+1);
- 31,273 artillery systems (+41);
- 1,204 multiple launch rocket systems (+1);
- 421 aircraft (+0);
- 340 helicopters (+0);
- 50,315 unmanned aerial vehicles (+147);
- 3,555 cruise missiles (+0);
- 28 ships (+0);
- 57,856 vehicles and fuel tanks (+125);
- 3,936 units of special equipment (+0).
The situation in eastern Ukraine remains complicated. In Pokrovsk, according to local authorities, it is difficult to deliver humanitarian and medical assistance.
