The football club Barcelona announced that Marc-André ter Stegen has been reinstated to the position of team captain after he signed the necessary documents for providing a medical report to La Liga. This occurred due to a conflict related to his recent surgery on the spine, when ter Stegen stated about a three-month term for reinstatement, while the club planned to indicate five months for the release of 80% of his salary within the framework of the registration rules of La Liga.

The conflict was registered when ter Stegen refused to allow the club to submit his medical documents, which led to the opening of a disciplinary case and the removal of his captaincy. However, the situation changed, and ter Stegen signed all the necessary documents, reinstating himself as the team captain.

The upcoming match for Barcelona will take place against the team Como in the traditional match for the Joan Gamper trophy, and the starting matches of La Liga will begin on September 16 with a away match against Mallorca.
