Russian troops capture Novokhatske and Tolstohyne

On September 8-9, Russian occupying forces captured the villages of Novokhatske and Tolstohyne in Donetsk region. This was reported by the Ukrainian military analytics group DeepState on their Telegram channel.
The report indicates that the enemy has also advanced in the directions of Verbnyk, Novospasivka, Nikanorivka, Voskresenske, Zelenyi Hai, and Toretske.
It is worth noting that on September 8, the General Staff reported the largest number of attacks by Russian troops on the Pokrovsk front, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 33 enemy assaults. In addition, on September 5, DeepState reported the capture of the village of Popiv Yar in Donetsk region.
According to the Donetsk regional military administration, in the zone of active combat operations, there are 21,700 civilians remaining, including 115 children.
