Kryvbas Wins Against Metalist 1925

On Saturday, September 9, in the second round of the Ukrainian Premier League, Kryvbas hosted Metalist 1925 on their home field. The match ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of the hosts.

The goals in the match were scored by Mendosa in the 40th minute and Parako in the 65th. Kryvbas managed to secure their first victory of the season, allowing them to take fourth place in the tournament table, earning three points.

The match took place at the Hyrnyk Stadium in Kryvyi Rih, where the team changed its lineup and coaching staff. Head coach Patrick van Leven, receiving support from new legionnaires, tried to change the situation after previous failures in the season.

Metalist 1925 continues to seek their game, but so far has recorded their first defeat of the season, leaving the team in 13th place with zero points.

The next match for Kryvbas will be held on September 18 against Zoria, while Metalist 1925 will play against Oleksandriya on September 16.
