The Ukrainian Cup continues with the qualifying round

• Four teams have advanced to the 1/32 finals of the Ukrainian Cup
• Lutsktekhmontazh did not manage to get through the qualifying round

On August 8, 2025, the matches of the qualifying round of the Ukrainian Cup for the 2025/2026 season took place. Four teams successfully advanced to the 1/32 finals.

In one of the most intense matches, Hirnyk from Novoyavorivsk played to a draw with Naftoprom-Dolina (1:1), but lost in the penalty shootout (3:4).

The second match was more straightforward: Karpaty from Cherkasy defeated Palmira from Odessa with a score of 2:1. The third team on the list of winners was Olympia from Slavyansk, which crushed Nika SMK from Bohodukhiv with a score of 4:0.

The last match ended with a victory for Korosten'/Ahro-Niva over Lutsktekhmontazh (1:0), allowing them to advance to the next stage of the competition.

This round of the competition demonstrated that amateur teams, such as Lutsktekhmontazh, can also compete with professional clubs, but they could not proceed further in the tournament.

The matches of the 1/32 finals are scheduled for September 23-24, 2025.
