Russian attacks caused damage in Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions

On September 9, 2025, Russian troops launched attacks on the territory of Ukraine, resulting in injuries to people and damage to infrastructure.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, specifically in Nikopol, two individuals sustained injuries as a result of shelling. According to Sergey Lisyak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, the strikes were carried out using drones and artillery. The injured are a 46-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman, who were hospitalized. During the attack, two residential buildings and three commercial buildings were destroyed, as well as six other buildings and two commercial structures were also damaged.

In Kharkiv, in the Kyiv district, a drone struck a furniture store, which resulted in the injuries of six individuals, including a 17-year-old girl. The incident occurred around 16:20. According to information from the National Police of the Kharkiv region, rescue workers and medics worked at the scene. All the injured were taken to a hospital.

Russian attacks on Ukraine continue from the morning of September 9. It is known that drones also targeted a passenger minibus in the vicinity of Kherson, resulting in the deaths of two people and injuries to another 16 individuals. There were also confirmed strikes in Dnipro, during which a woman and two men were injured.
