Volunteers Assist with the Evacuation of Residents from the Korabelny Microdistrict in Kherson

Volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) from two regions are participating in the evacuation of residents from the Korabelny microdistrict in Kherson. As of September 9, 1,536 people had been evacuated from this area, including 56 children and 150 individuals with limited mobility.

On Saturday, September 9, 125 civilians were evacuated from the Korabelny microdistrict, including nine who have limited mobility. This was reported by the Kherson City Military Administration via Telegram.

Volunteers assist not only in evacuation but also at registration points, providing initial psychological support and, if needed, medical assistance. Currently, more than 150 individuals have received initial psychological support, and humanitarian supplies have also been provided.

All evacuees receive assistance in seeking comfortable housing and support in obtaining IDP status (internally displaced person) and other benefits. If needed, transportation to other regions of Ukraine is provided free of charge.
