The birth of their second son, whom they named Miquel, took place on September 8, 2025 at the Quironsalud Palmaplanas clinic in Majorca. This name was chosen in honor of Meri's father, who passed away in the spring of 2023.

The couple left the clinic on September 9, and already on Thursday, they welcomed their newborn home to introduce him. Their first son, Rafael, was born in the same clinic on July 8, 2022.

Nadal and Perello have been together for over 19 years. They got engaged on July 19, 2019, and three years after their wedding, they welcomed their first son. Now the family resides in a new villa in Porto Cristo, which has a stunning view of the sea.

"For me, family is everything. My partner Meri... I thank you for everything you have done," Nadal said about his family after concluding his career.
