The English team demonstrated their strength, defeating France in the last match before the 2025 Rugby World Cup.
The match took place at the Guy Boniface Stadium in Mont-de-Marsan. England dominated throughout the match, opening the scoring already in the 4th minute thanks to a try from Morven Taling. Two subsequent tries were scored by Amey Kokein and Mud Muir, which solidified England's lead in the first half.
After the break, thanks to a quick decision, England extended their lead when Megan Jones scored with a penalty against the French team and added a try. Substitute player Lark Atkin-Davis also distinguished himself with two tries in the closing minutes of the match, which were successfully converted by Zoe Harrison, confirming England's dominance.
This victory became the 16th consecutive one for England over France, adding to the team's confidence ahead of the upcoming World Cup. France, in turn, will have three group stage matches, starting with a game against Italy on September 23.
