On August 6, she opened an Instagram page "Malcolm-Jamal Warner Living Legacy", dedicated to celebrating the life of the actor, who was recognized with two Emmy awards.
In her first post, Pamela shared plans to highlight projects and initiatives related to her son's life, inviting supporters to "stay connected." Two days later, she published an emotional memory of Malcolm's life, describing him as "a kind and loving person," whose greatest goal was to help others realize their own strength.
Malcolm, known for his role as Theo Huxtable in the series "The Cosby Show," passed away on July 20 at the age of 54. According to information from the Costa Rican authorities, he drowned while swimming near Kokles beach, where he was caught in a rip current.
In her statement, Pamela noted that her son "did not suffer" and that his death became a return to the place where his life began. She recalled all three moments close to his life, which they cherished, adding that his spirit can still be preserved.
Pamela also expressed gratitude for the fact that he had a mother, and emphasized that Malcolm was not only her son but also her teacher, friend, and business partner. She stated that his mission on earth was completed.
