Tommy Fleetwood has a one-shot lead over Justin Rose heading into the final round of the FedEx St Jude Championship in Memphis. He finished the third round with a score of 69, which allowed him to accumulate 14 under par in the overall standings.
In the third day of the competition, Fleetwood, who opened the tournament with a score of 63, struggled with difficulties but managed to maintain the lead thanks to crucial shots at key moments on the course. He earned five birdies but also allowed two bogeys.
Justin Rose, who is currently second with 13 under par, had six birdies and three bogeys in the third round. Among Fleetwood's competitors is also world number one Scottie Scheffler, who posted the best result of the day with a score of 65, and Jay Jay Spahn, the US Open champion.
This tournament is part of the FedEx Playoffs, where only the top 70 players of the season can compete. Fleetwood, who has yet to win any titles on the PGA Tour, is hoping for success in the final round to complete his path to victory.
The final round of the FedEx St Jude Championship starts at 6:00 PM local time on Sunday.
