Ukrainian forces neutralized 70 drones of the enemy

On September 9-10, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine, deploying 100 drones of various types, of which 70 were destroyed by the Ukrainian air defense forces.

The attack began at 23:00 from the territory of the Russian Federation, including from populated points such as Shatalovo, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from temporarily occupied Crimea (the village of Hvardiyiske). According to the data from the Ukrainian armed forces, out of 100 launched drones, 30 struck 12 populated points in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions.

With the aim of repelling the attack, Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems, and mobile fire groups were involved. As of 08:00 on September 10, the destruction or confirmation of 70 drones in the northern and eastern regions of Ukraine was reported, while the wreckage of the destroyed drones was secured in three other locations.

It is noted that on September 9, Russian troops attacked a public bus in the vicinity of Kherson, resulting in the deaths of two people and injuring 16 others.
