On September 10, a Russian drone struck the building of the Sumy regional administration. According to Oleg Grigorov, head of the Sumy regional military administration, the building suffered damage, but there are no reported casualties.

This attack occurred in the center of the city. Grigorov noted that the enemy is systematically trying to destroy administrative and civilian facilities to intimidate the local population.

The authorities are urging residents and visitors of the region to avoid being near administrative buildings and critical infrastructure during the ongoing threat.

Situation in Sumy

Sumy experiences daily shelling. On July 26, the occupiers attacked the city with drones, which led to power outages and water supply disruptions. The local authorities also reported strikes on civilian infrastructure.
