Emma Raducanu progressed to the third round of the Cincinnati Open after convincingly defeating Olga Danilovich with a score of 6-3, 6-2.

This encounter was the first match for the British tennis player after she joined the former coach of Rafael Nadal, Francis Roig.

Raducanu did not falter early in the game, as she quickly regained momentum and won three games in a row to close out the first set in her favor.

In the second set, Raducanu continued to dominate, not allowing her opponent to win a single game after 3-2.

The match lasted one hour and twenty minutes, and now Raducanu awaits a meeting with world number one Aryna Sabalenka, who also won her match.

Earlier, the champion of Wimbledon Iga Swiatek easily progressed to the next round with a victory of 6-1, 6-4 over Anastasija Potapova. The champion of the Australian Open Madison Keys also won, securing two match points in the quarterfinals against Ewa Lis.
