Son received a penalty in the 77th minute, which was converted by Denis Buanga, allowing his team to level the score in the 81st minute. The referee initially did not award the penalty, but VAR confirmed the correctness of the decision.
Son He Min, who signed a record contract with LAFC worth $26 million for MLS, left Tottenham, where he became the fifth top scorer in the club's history with 173 goals in 454 matches. He expressed satisfaction with the warm reception from the fans during the match.
