On August 10, 2025, severe flooding occurred in Viskonsin, prompting the cancellation of the last day of the fair in the state of Viskonsin. Organizers announced the closure of the event due to flooding in the territory of the fair in West-Alli, not far from Milvoki.

On the territory of Milvoki, up to 25 centimeters of precipitation was recorded, which led to an extraordinary situation, including nearly 600 calls to emergency services. The city experienced a significant power outage, leaving 47 thousand residents without electricity.

The National Meteorological Service warned of dangerous weather conditions, including the possibility of strong winds and further flooding throughout the weekend. In connection with this, they also canceled the National Championship of the USA with triathlons that were supposed to take place in Milvoki.

In states like Nevraska and Aiyova, there were also reports of flooding, including in Nevraska where one woman died after being struck by a falling tree on her vehicle. All residents in Nevraska, who were affected by the flooding, were evacuated and are currently in safety.
