On August 10, 2025, Russian troops carried out a strike on the central bus station in Zaporizhzhia, targeting a passenger bus. As a result of this attack, 12 people were injured, one of whom is in serious condition.

Fedorov reported that the number of injured has increased to 12, and a rescue operation is currently underway, as some people may be trapped under the rubble. All injured are receiving necessary medical assistance. A second strike at the Zaporizhzhia State Medical University was also recorded, but there were no casualties there.

Russian forces regularly shell Zaporizhzhia and the region, using drones, aircraft, and rockets. For example, on August 6, as a result of shelling, two people were killed, including four children, and several were injured.
