Al Jazeera journalist Anas al-Sharif was killed as a result of an airstrike in Gaza, the company reported. He and several other journalists, including correspondent Mohammed Kreikha, were injured in the raid, which resulted in their hospitalization in the medical complex of Al Jazeera.
Director of the Shifa hospital, Dr. Mohammed Abu Salmiya, confirmed that during the explosion, Anas al-Sharif, Kreikha, and four other journalists were killed, as well as one accidental passerby. Part of the injured was taken to the emergency department, where Al Jazeera operators and assistants work, and was also evacuated.
