Osses Itauma returns to boxing thanks to Ben Davison
- Osses Itauma expressed his love for boxing thanks to Ben Davison.
- The preparation for the fight with Dillian Whyte will take place on September 16.
- Itauma has achieved 12 wins in 12 fights, 10 of which were by knockout.
Osses Itauma, a 20-year-old boxer from Great Britain, shared how professional trainer Ben Davison helped him rediscover his love for boxing. After the start of his career in 2023, Itauma felt overwhelmed and lost motivation, but changing trainers became the decisive factor for his further development.
In his career, he has achieved 12 wins, 10 of which were by knockout, and he is preparing for the fight against Dillian Whyte on September 16, 2025, in Er-Riyadh. Itauma noted that during the first stage he did not feel progress and even considered the possibility of leaving boxing. Associating with boxers like Tyson Fury and Daniel Dubois, he realized that he needed to find a new trainer to overcome barriers in his development.
Other trainers did not manage to provide him with the necessary attention, but Ben Davison, who has worked with stars like Fury and Joshua, focused on the details of his technique. Itauma explained how Davison analyzed his fights and helped him understand that boxing is not only a physical battle but also a strategic game.
Thanks to the new approach, Itauma felt invigorated again and ready for new challenges in the ring. His brother, Karol Itauma, also supported him in his decision to train under Davison's guidance, which became a key moment in his career.
