Tottenham Hotspur has started negotiations with Manchester City regarding a possible transfer of winger Savin. Discussions between the clubs concern an agreement for an amount close to 50 million euros (43.3 million pounds, 58.2 million dollars).
Although Manchester City is not keen on selling Savin, the player is open to a possible transfer, and manager Pep Guardiola usually does not hinder players who want to leave the club.
At the moment, the agreement has not yet been reached, but negotiations are ongoing, especially since Tottenham is eager to sign the 21-year-old player.
Savin joined Manchester City from Girondins last summer and has a contract until June 2028. He has scored three goals in 48 matches for City in the 2024-25 season and one goal in 13 matches for the national team of Brazil.
Previously, Savin played for Athletico Mineiro, and also for the French club Troyes, which is part of the City Football Group. In the 2022-23 seasons, he was loaned to PSV, and in the 2023-24 seasons he helped Girondins achieve fourth place in La Liga and qualify for the Champions League for the first time, scoring 11 goals throughout the season.
Since moving to Manchester City, Savin has demonstrated his skills and received recognition in European football.
