Strike on the missile component plant in Russia

  • The SBU struck a plant in Russia that produces components for missiles.
  • The plant is part of the Russian military-industrial complex.
  • The operation is part of the demilitarization of the enterprises that produce weaponry.

This is reported by RBC Ukraine, Interfax Ukraine.

Today, the drones of the State Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) dealt a strike on the production capabilities of the plant. It is located in Arzamas, Nizhny Novgorod region, Russia. The SBU reported that the enterprise is part of the Russian military-industrial complex and specializes in the production of guidance systems and onboard computers, including for the X-32 and X-101 missiles.

Preliminary data indicates that the plant suffered from four pinpoint strikes by the SBU drones. It is known that the enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex, which support the war against Ukraine, are considered legitimate military targets.

It is noted that on September 9, the SBU had already dealt a strike on a warehouse with drones "Shahed" in Tatarstan, which is more than 1000 km from Ukraine.
