EU discusses the meeting of Trump and Putin without Ukraine

European foreign ministers gathered for a video conference to discuss the upcoming summit between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, which will take place in Alaska on August 15. This meeting, called by the high representative Josep Borrell, was a response to the disappointment regarding the absence of Ukrainian representation at the meeting.

The meeting starts at 16:00 on August 11, but the press conference is not scheduled. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha has also been invited to this conference.

According to the words of U.S. Vice President D. Vance, work is ongoing to organize the meeting between Trump, Volodymyr Zelensky, and Putin.
