20-year-old defender of Shakhtar football club, Anton Drozda, has transferred to Oleksandriya to participate in the new season. This transfer ensures Oleksandriya's strengthening in defense in their upcoming matches in the Ukrainian championship.

Drozda, who previously played for Shakhtar's youth team, had a total of 29 matches last season, scoring 4 goals and providing 5 assists. His contract with Shakhtar runs until March 31, 2029, which supports the club's long-term plans for his development.

Oleksandriya hopes for a successful collaboration with the new player, as he has potential not only for playing in the defender position but also for executing attacking functions, which could be beneficial for the team during the season.

On August 16, Oleksandriya will start a new round of the UPL championship, where they will compete against their former superiors at 13:00.
