Henry Pollock Signed a Contract with the England Elite Team

  • Henry Pollock has signed a contract with the England Elite team.
  • The list of players includes 25 individuals, among whom are several new faces.
  • Owen Farrell did not receive a contract after returning from France.

Rugby player Henry Pollock has been included in the new list of 25 players who received contracts from the England Elite team (EPS). These contracts, introduced last February, ensure greater control over the players' training under Steve Borthwick regarding medical and sports issues.

Pollock, who is 20 years old, became a permanent addition to the squad after debuting for the England team in the autumn, having missed two attempts in a match against Wales. His selection for the British and Irish Lions tour in Australia this summer confirms his successes.

Among other players who received contracts are Tom Williams, Ben Kerr, and Tom Roebuck. Meanwhile, former captain Owen Farrell did not receive a contract after returning from France. The central position contract was only retained by players who did not fall into the squad.

The England team this year will play matches against Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, and Argentina in the autumn season.
