Trainer Detroit Lions Dan Campbell reported that safety Moritz Norris is in protocol due to a concussion. The team plans to cautiously approach his reinstatement over the next 10-14 days.

Norris sustained a serious head injury during the game against the Atlanta Falcons, which aimed to stop the running of Nathan Carter. After being hit, his head was briefly knocked back. Norris was taken to the hospital for observation, and the game was completed.

The team confirmed that Norris is in stable condition and has feeling and movement in all extremities. After the night in the hospital in Atlanta, he returned to Detroit and rejoined the team’s base.

Campbell noted that everyone was glad to see him back, and similar incidents always cause concern. Norris also thanked everyone for their support on social media, adding that he feels good.

The Lions plan to conduct training with Dolphins in the middle of the week and have a preseason game on Saturday.
