The President of the USA Donald Trump plans to meet with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on Friday, September 15, 2025, in Alaska. This information was confirmed by Trump during a press conference where he discussed the situation with the criminal in Washington, D.C.
Trump stated: "I do not like to be here, talking about how insecure and ridiculous this colorful capital is." He mentioned that he is going to Russia, and really wants to meet in Alaska.
This meeting will be the first between the President of the USA and Putin since 2021. Trump considers this meeting as a possible opportunity to discuss the end of the war in Ukraine, which started with Russia in the summer of 2022. Official representatives of the Kremlin confirmed that the meeting between the leaders will take place in Alaska, since the USA and Russia are "close neighbors".
It is also worth noting that Putin has an order for arrest from the International Criminal Court, which adds additional pressure to this meeting.
