The new forward of Manchester United, Benjamin Sesko, hopes to replicate the achievements of his idol Zlatan Ibrahimović, who also played for this club. Sesko, a 22-year-old Slovenian, joined RB Leipzig for a fee of £73.7 million.
In his first interview on MUTV, he shared that Ibrahimović has always been his hero. "I have been watching him since childhood. Every video on YouTube that I could find, he was just incredible for me," said Sesko.
Sesko also expressed a desire to meet his idol: "It would be wonderful. We have different characters, but I try to learn from him." Last season, the forward scored 21 goals in all competitions for Leipzig.
He also mentioned other great forwards of United, such as Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney, and expressed a desire to showcase himself with the best in the new team. "I want to help the club achieve any higher results," added Sesko.
After the biggest season in 51 years, when the team finished 15th in the Premier League, Sesko emphasized that "these are wonderful times for the club." According to the new forward, the team is getting better with each new signing, such as Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo. "I can't wait to start," he concluded.
