The Command Post of the Russian Armed Forces in Donetsk Oblast Destroyed

The Ukrainian defense forces struck the command post of the 85th separate motorized brigade of Russia, which was located in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk Oblast. This was reported by General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as a result of the precise strike, the commander of the brigade with the call sign Dnipro and five members of the operational staff were killed.

It is noted that the Ukrainian forces continue to deliver strikes on the command posts of the Russian troops. This is not the first incident where the Ukrainian military successfully strikes Russian command structures. In July, the Ukrainian defense forces destroyed the command post of the 8th general army of Russia and also eliminated a Russian S-300 anti-aircraft missile system in the Zaporizhzhia region.
