Manchester Originals celebrated their first victory in the human tournament The Hundred, defeating London Spirit at Emirates Old Trafford.

The team scored 163 runs, batting first. Jos Buttler started off strong, scoring 46 runs off 37 balls. In reply, London Spirit managed to score 153 runs, falling short by 10 runs. The standout player for the Spirit side was David Warner, who scored 71 runs off 51 balls.

At the start of the match, the Originals team won the toss and chose to bat first. In his debut, Ben McKinnon scored 29 runs off 12 balls, including three sixes. In his turn, Sonny Baker, a young bowler, showcased an impressive performance, limiting the superstars to a few runs, although he did not manage to take any wickets.
