Russian troops are advancing towards Drobopillya and Kramatorsk
- Russian troops are advancing towards Drobopillya, capturing populated points.
- The situation at the front remains complex, with intense fighting.
- Ukrainian forces are trying to liquidate the enemy's advantage.
This is reported by RBC Ukraine, Ukrayinska Pravda.
Russian troops have significantly advanced in the Drobopillya area, capturing several populated points, according to information from the analytical group DeepState and the Operational-Strategic Group of the Dnipro Armed Forces.
DeepState Response
According to the analysts' data, Russian forces, using numerical superiority of infantry, have advanced in the populated points of Kucheryiv Yar and Zolotyi Kolodyaz, where they are increasing their forces for further offensive. From Kucheryiv Yar, Russian troops have also moved towards Vesele; during the last day, close to two dozen Russian servicemen have been recorded.
Furthermore, Russian forces continue to expand their capabilities in the direction of the Drobopillya–Kramatorsk road, strengthening in the areas of Novovodyane and Petrivka.
DeepState described the situation as quite chaotic, noting that Russian troops, having discovered weak points in the Ukrainian defense, are penetrating deeper, trying to quickly consolidate and increase forces for further offensives. They warned that some individuals in command of certain brigades either do not acknowledge the full scale of the problems or present them as "under control," asserting that "everyone has perished, everyone has stopped."
According to DeepState, Russian troops already have predetermined operational goals and are currently implementing their plan, trying to fully occupy Zolotyi Kolodyaz, Kucheryiv Yar, Vesele, and other populated points. If the situation does not change, Drobopillya may fall faster than Pokrovsk.
OSGT Dnipro Response
The Ukrainian army stated that Russian troops constantly change tactics, utilizing numerical superiority, and despite significant losses, they are trying to penetrate with small groups through the first line of Ukrainian positions.
Such penetration, they emphasized, requires reserves for liquidation, not establishing "control over the territory." The permanence of this situation has repeatedly led to problems in the analysis of the situation and public discussions in the Pokrovsk–Myrnohrad area.
The situation at this front remains complex, as fighting here is the most intense compared to other parts of the contact line.
According to data from the General Staff, as of 18:00 Kyiv time, since the beginning of the day, there have been 65 combat encounters, with the direction of Pokrovsk remaining the epicenter of the battles.
During the last day, Russia's losses amounted to 1000 personnel. Ukrainian forces have also destroyed 4 tanks, 7 armored combat vehicles, 37 artillery systems, 191 drones, and other Russian equipment.
