The government admits it has not resolved the crisis of small migrants
- The number of migrants who crossed La-Mans may exceed 50,000.
- The government has established a new agreement with France to combat migration.
- Protests against the placement of hotels for migrants continue in Great Britain.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Great Britain, Baroness Suella Braverman, acknowledged that the government has not managed to cope with the crisis of small migrants, especially since the number of people who crossed La-Mans may exceed 50,000. According to the latest statistics, since the moment of coming to power of the Labour Party, 49,797 people have arrived in Britain as small migrants.
Braverman indicated that this problem has not been resolved, but blamed the previous government for not implementing the necessary measures to address it. She emphasized that the last government allowed this criminal activity to become entrenched in Europe.
The government is actively working on reducing migration, establishing a new "one for one" agreement with France, which allows for the return of migrants who crossed the channel, generally for the reception of hotels for migrants from France.
There was also an expansion of the "deportation now, appeal later" scheme, under which infamous criminals can be deported pending the consideration of their appeals.
Recently, protests have taken place in Britain against the use of hotels for the accommodation of migrants, which has been referred to as "asylum seekers".
In September 2025, a record number of migrants who arrived in Britain is expected, which will increase the pressure on this issue.
