Poland is concerned about Russia's attempts to sow discord

  • Russia is trying to provoke a conflict between Ukraine and Poland.
  • In Poland, incidents of vandalism against Ukrainian monuments are being investigated.
  • Cooperation between Ukraine and Poland continues in the field of excavation.

This is reported by RBC Ukraine, Ukrinform.

The Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that Russia is trying to provoke discord between Ukraine and Poland against the backdrop of the war in Ukraine. According to him, these actions are part of Vladimir Putin's plan, which includes inciting anti-Ukrainian sentiments in Poland.

Tusk noted that recent incidents in Poland, such as vandalism at the memorial to the victims of the Volhynia tragedy and the use of a banned red-black flag at a concert, could negatively impact the established relations between Poles and Ukrainians. In particular, at the concert of Belarusian rapper Max Korzh in Warsaw, a young man displayed aggression, which caused a scandal.

Poland continues to provide military and political support to Ukraine. Cooperation in the field of excavation of the victims of the Volhynia tragedy is also ongoing, particularly in Ukraine and Poland.

These actions underscore the importance of maintaining good relations between Kyiv and Warsaw, especially in the context of external pressure.
