Samsung has introduced its first Micro RGB television at 115 inches, which debuted at the CES 2025 exhibition. This television will be available initially in South Korea at a price of over $32,000, and will later be announced in the USA and other regions.
The television utilizes new Micro RGB technology, which ensures high color accuracy thanks to microscopic LEDs, each smaller than 100 microns, allowing for vibrant brightness and contrast in the displayed images. Along with the provided software, the Micro RGB AI system analyzes each frame in real-time, optimizing color output for creating a more realistic image.
In addition, the television is equipped with Glare Free technology, which improves visibility of content in bright lighting conditions. The Micro RGB TV operates on the Tizen operating system, which offers users various functions, including security updates and software maintenance.
Samsung emphasizes that the new model ensures 100% coverage of the BT.2020 color space, which is a significant achievement for televisions of this class. However, compared to OLED models, viewing angles may be less optimal.
