Strikes on Shahed Storage Facilities in Tatarstan

On August 12, the drones of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) attacked the storage terminal for "Shahed" in Tatarstan, as reported by the SBU Telegram channel.

Long-range drones from a special operations center were used in the attack. In the logistics hub, which was hit, Russian forces are preparing to launch the "Shahed" drones, as well as other components for them.

This facility is located in the populated area of Kyzyl-Yul, approximately 1300 km from Ukraine. The SBU emphasized that the video, taken by local residents, confirms the successful strike on the hub. Fires were observed in the buildings.

This attack aims to reduce the possibility of the enemy conducting terrorist attacks using "Shahed" drones against Ukraine. "Operations aimed at undermining the supply lines, which provide Russian military equipment, will continue," the SBU stated.

First Strike

On September 9, the SBU reported that their drones had destroyed a storage facility with "Shahed" drones in Tatarstan. After the attack on the storage facility, a fire broke out — one of the drones was involved in this incident.

The SBU stressed that such a terminal is a legitimate military target for Ukraine.
