At this moment, Love is unable to participate in training sessions this week. Gutekunst hopes that he will be able to return to practice next week to be ready for the start of the regular season.

Head coach Matt LaFleur noted that Love "was working" on the practice field despite the injury, executing passes only with his right hand. It will be important for Love to return in time for the start of the season, as the team has a plan for the match against the Detroit Lions.
