KPop Demon Hunters announces special shows with songs

The animated film KPop Demon Hunters from Netflix, which has become the most popular original animated film on the platform, will soon appear in theaters for special shows featuring the opportunity to sing along with the characters. The event will take place on August 23 and 24, 2025.
The film, which tells the story of K-pop stars Rumi, Miru, and Zoe, who simultaneously have ideas about demons, has already gathered a huge audience. Since its release on June 20, 2025, KPop Demon Hunters has garnered 158.8 million views, which amounts to 264.6 million hours of viewing. This makes it the fourth most popular original film on Netflix in history.
During the event, fans will be able to enjoy popular songs from the film, such as Golden and Soda Pop, which have achieved chart-topping popularity on music charts, including the Billboard Hot 100. Tickets for the shows will be available for purchase starting August 13 at 9:00 AM Eastern Time.
Additionally, a new song was released featuring vocalist Ray Ami, who voices the character Zoe. This song, called Short, has added a new element to the film's popularity.
The film has also received a high rating from critics, with a 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, indicating its positive reception among viewers.
